Being a resident or property owner in Walton County, gives you the ability to obtain a permit allowing your pooch to hit the beach with you. Although there are specific times that allow you and your pup to play in the sand and in the ocean, obtaining a permit is becoming a must have. During the spring and summer months, you may bring your dog onto the beach from 4pm-8am, and anywhere from 3pm-9am during the fall and winter months. If you can relax on the beach, your fur baby should too!
