Did someone say Christmas movie marathon? The Hub on 30A will be playing all of your favorite Christmas movies for a 3 day movie marathon event. Get into the holiday spirit, kick up your feet and enjoy 9 different Christmas movies starting on Wednesday, December 21st through Friday, December 23rd.
The Hub will kick off the movie marathon with The Muppets on Wednesday, December 21st at 3pm. Don’t miss the train to the North Pole. All aboard the Polar Express at 4:30pm for a journey to a winter wonderland. Following a 5 minute intermission, head on into Whoville to watch Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas at 6:15pm
Put your Santa hat on and watch The Santa Clause beginning at 3pm on Thursday, December 22nd. With a 5 minute intermission, you’ll have just enough time to get your sugar rush ready. “We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.” You guessed it! Elf will begin at 4:45pm. If you’re an animal lover, you’ll have to stick around for Secret Life of Pets that’ll begin at 6:30pm.
Twas the night before Christmas Eve, The Hub is showing 3 throwback Christmas classics. The 1947 original, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, will begin at 2pm. Make sure the headcount is correct on your next family vacation. Home Alone, showing at 3pm, will teach you exactly how to keep the burglars away while your family is in France. Do you and Ralphie both want a Red Ryder B.B Gun for Christmas? A Christmas Story is a wonderful classic movie for the whole family to enjoy. Lastly, don’t forget your dancing shoes. The movie marathon evening will end with live music of the 50’s and 60’s from 7pm onwards to shake and groove into Christmas.
