Though the romantic village of Rosemary Beach is only 21 years old, this culturally-rich section of Highway 30A offers fun activities for the whole family. For those escaping to Rosemary Beach this spring, there are plenty of wonderful ways to spend your time when you’re not lounging by the Emerald Coast or enjoying the amenities in one of our cozy cottages.

30A Farmers Market

Throughout the year, locals and visitors know to visit the 30A Farmers Market in the Rosemary Beach Town Center on Sundays. Since all of our cottages are equipped with fully-functioning kitchens, hit the farmers market to pick up your favorite, fresh ingredients and prepare a meal your whole family will enjoy.

Moonlight Movies & Face Painting

One of the wonderful things about visiting Rosemary Beach is how many free events the community offers the public. For instance, the Moonlight Movies & Face Painting evenings every Thursday is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Rosemary Beach while keeping the little ones entertained. Movies such as Inside Out, Minions, and Maleficent will be screened throughout the season. Arrive early so your kids can have their faces painted by some very local talented artists.

Spring It On! Concert Series

Another free family-friendly event hosted on Thursday evenings is the Spring It On! Concert Series at North Barrett Square. Enjoy music from your favorite generations with The Hep-Cats, RB Big Band, Like Totally 80s, and Girls Rock. For those in town on Thursday, April 11, the Spring It On! Concert Series hosts an evening with Bob Dorough from Schoolhouse Rocks.

Easter Festivities

Spending Easter in Rosemary Beach is truly a blessing. On Sunday, March 27 participate in a non-denominational church service by the beach beginning at 8:30 a.m., followed by the arrival of the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt. Parents can enjoy complimentary mimosas while their own little bunnies hunt for Easter eggs. Also, enjoy an Easter buffet at The Pearl Ballroom or brunch at the Havana Beach Bar and Grill. For both the buffet and brunch, be sure to call ahead to make your reservations.

Keep an eye out for additional, one-off events, such as the Havana Nights Dinner & Salsa Dancing Instruction on Wednesday, March 16 and Farmer’s Market to the Table Cooking Demo by Chef Matt Moore on Saturday, April 9.
