The Great Southern in Seaside, FL
If you’re catching a morning game and want a touchdown-worthy Bloody Mary to spice up your game day action, then check in at The Great Southern in Seaside where sunlight streams in through picture windows creating an elegant yet comfy setting. Of course, if it’s an afternoon or evening game, The Great Southern is equally delightful and accessible with Happy Hours and specials like the Grits YaYa or Blackened Snapper, which can’t be beat (hopefully just like your team).
723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove
Watching the game at 723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove is an experience. While there are plenty of ambient dining and cocktailing opportunities, sports fans should head downstairs to the restaurant’s signature Chris Craft boat-shaped bar, which had eight big-screen TVs perfect for watching the action. Of course, if you’d rather a more private viewing experience, then grab an overstuffed booth in the Sports Lounge and watch the gridiron action on an individual set. Needless to say, the food served at 723 Whiskey Bravo is as diverse and delightful as the game day viewing options.
Shades Bar and Grill at Inlet Beach
Looking for a friendly pub atmosphere to catch the game? Then go no further than Shades Bar and Grill at Inlet Beach. There are plenty of TVs for maximum viewing at any angle as well as great brews and game day snack-fare. Nosh on coastal bites like fried calamari or fish tacos as you catch the game, or get down to it with an order of 20 wings for the table. Bet on sauces like you do the game outcome…see who can withstand the “Death by Hot Sauce” sauce the longest without swigging from a draft of 30A Beach Blond Ale.
The Hub at Watersound Beach
Just past Seagrove Beach on the south side of Watersound Beach is The Hub, which owns up to its name as in it’s centrally located collaborative of seven dining venues perfect for festive gatherings. Folks head to The Hub for the game because where else can you sit at your table or on plush accommodations and enjoy the game on a 25’ LED jumbotron? You practically feel like you’re in the stadium watching the action live. Meanwhile, unlike at the stadium, there’s not a game day nosh you can’t find at The Hub. Choose from pizza, southern smoked BBQ, burgers, wings, peel and eat shrimp…you name it and you can bet someone’s making it at The Hub.
Growler Garage in Gulf Place
If you’re into catching the game in a cool, laid-back atmosphere, then head over to Growler Garage in Gulf Place. Motorcycles, surfboards, and beer taps flank the garage’s space making for one of 30As most unique hangout settings. TVs adorn the walls, so everywhere you park, there’s a view of the field. With 40 craft beers on tap, 4 wines on the menu, and a nonalcoholic root beer option for the kiddos, Growler Garage has everyone’s thirst-needs covered. Even better, if you decide to head home at half time, the tap, which comes out a frosty 28-degrees, can be made to-go in one of the Garage’s growler bottles.
