The lineup for the 11th annual Songwriters Festival has been released! Whether you’re an avid festival fan, or just looking for something fun to do on MLK weekend, this is a festival you’ll want to keep your eye on. To help ease the pain of planning, we’ve curated a total trip guide for the weekend.
The Lineup:
The festival will take place January 17-20, 2020 in South Walton, featuring performances from over 175 artists, spread out over 25 different venues. Whether you prefer a more intimate bar setting or enjoy hanging out at a large amphitheatre, there will be something suited for every music lover.
Headliners John Prine, the Indigo Girls, and Tanya Tucker will be performing Saturday throughout the various venues along the 30A corridor, followed by Sunday’s performances from Brian Wilson, Don McLean and Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone.

Where to Eat:
30A has no shortage of good eateries! Thankfully, many of this year’s venues double up as restaurants, so you can grab a bite while listening to some of your favorite artists!
If you’re looking for a family-friendly environment to kick off the weekend, the Old Florida Fish House is your place to go. This spacious Seagrove restaurant is known for its great food, family-friendly setting, and a breathtaking view of the coastal skyline.
Those looking for a more intimate, bar setting, check out the Grayton Beer Taproom. This family owned and operated brewery has received numerous awards for their selection of classic and contemporary beers.
If you haven’t gotten your music fix, pop into Hibiscus for brunch and tunes! This fabulous breakfast cafe is located in Grayton Beach, and doubles up as a magical outdoor venue.
Transportation:
The festival will no doubt bring increased traffic to the South Walton streets, so be sure to plan your transportation needs prior to your visit to avoid any last-minute hassles. Though the festival will be providing a shuttle bus for attendees, our cottages come supplied with two free bikes to renters.
