Located on the south side of 30A, this well-designed condo, Beach Hat, is just steps away from Watercolor’s newly renovated Beach Club, private beach access, restaurants and shops. Throughout the home rich, honey-colored wooden floors are offset by mostly white décor, creating a serene yet welcoming space. The first level of the condo features an open concept kitchen, living and dining room flooded with natural light from a wall of windows trimmed in bamboo shades. Balconies on both levels are perfect for early mornings or late afternoons, with gorgeous Gulf views available on the second level of the condo. Upstairs on the second level, you’ll also find the spacious master suite, with white board and batten walls and a natural wicker king sized bed. Beach Hat is perfect for a couple’s getaway or family of four beach trip thanks to a sleeper sofa in the living room and downstairs full bath with jetted tub and shower.

NOTE: When booking, please provide the correct number of adults and children that will be staying in the home. WaterColor requires a wristband for all guests, to allow access to the amenities (pool and beach) so you must provide the correct number of guests to ensure everyone will have access to the community amenities. We are not able to provide additional wristbands after your arrival, so it is imperative you inform us at least two weeks before your arrival if there is a change after the time of booking. The HOA will not allow more than 4 guests in this home at any time, and they will not issue more than 4 bands per stay. No exceptions can be made.

Many of the communities along 30A are continuing to expand, so many more individuals can come enjoy the crystal blue waters of the Panhandle. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is construction and all the items that come along with it, such as noise, road blocks, etc. We understand this can be inconvenient for our guests, which is why we have chosen to make all possible guests aware of the possibility of this during their beach vacation. As most of this is outside of 30A Cottages realm of control, we are not able to offer discounts/compensation for any noise complaints, road blockades, etc. during a guest's stay. Parking
WaterColor will only issue two parking passes per property. There is a public parking area and no designated space for this condo; parking is on a first come, first served basis and passes must be displayed at all times.

Reservation/Booking Policy
***The cancelation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such as VRBO.com, HomeAway.com, or VacationRentals.com. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.

This unit was in the most perfect location. While near the beach club, it never seemed to busy in the area and quiet on the most west side of Watercolor. Walkable to everywhere! We greatly enjoyed the 2 balconies, the full kitchen, and the how spacious the entire unit is. The included bikes were fun and easy to use. No issues parking. We found it a little difficult to find the unit arriving at night but easy check in and found the unit ready and welcoming! Would love to stay here again in the future!

Such a wonderful location. The pictures do not do it justice there is more space than 2 people ever need, and even 4 if you have some kids using the pullout. Great location maybe a 45 second walk to the beach club, couldn’t ask for better, we will certainly be back

This place was beautiful and such a calming place. I loved the gulf views from upstairs. We have been staying at watercolor for 2o years at another nearby condo. Since it wasn’t available for rent this year, we stayed at Beach Hat, and just loved it. Over the years, we have also dealt with several rental companies. I was so impressed with 30-A cottages. Their level of communication was the most we have ever had. We will be back!

We had a fantastic experience, Beach Hat was convenient, clean and the decor was very nice. We enjoyed the patio’s and could hear the ocean waves at night. We had a small issue upon check-in and it was handled immediately. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Location was FANTASTIC! We traveled with our 2 year old and walking to the beach every day was so easy! Literally footsteps away from the beach club. The watercolor amenities are fabulous! We enjoyed the cozy treehouse feel of our apartment. It was clean and comfortable and very well stocked. The views from the top patio were awesome! We had a great stay and will plan to stay again.

My wife and I haven't taken a vacation since our honeymoon 10 years ago, so we heard about this place and decided to book! the weary get wasn't great but better than NY!! everyone in water color is so friendly, everything is walking distance and it's a awesome quiet place if your looking for. relaxing get away

Beautiful Condo!

Beautifully decorated condo with lots of windows for natural light. We loved the high ceilings on the first and second floor and the outside porches on both floors. The modern kitchen was well stocked with various appliances, and everything was very clean. Also loved the jacuzzi tub on the first floor and the large bathroom upstairs in the master bedroom. There is a partial view of the ocean from the porch upstairs.

This was a wonderful condo. Located right up front by the pool. Beautifully decorated. Just the right size for a few adults. I was alone enjoyed it tremendously. Everything was very clean. Reaching management was very easy. I love the style of the bedroom bathroom combination.

Great time at Watercolor

This property was ridiculously close to the Watercolor Beach Club and beach. It was also right in the middle of the Watercolor shops and restaurants. It was a short walk, 0.3 miles, to the boat house for paddle boarding, and a 1.8 mile bike ride to the kids club pools. It’s on the third floor, but has an elevator to bring your stuff upstairs and down easily. The master bedroom was really nice and the top floor balcony has a view of the ocean. Our kids are 10 & 7 and shared the fold -out couch, which worked great for them, and having a full bath downstairs was a nice convenience. We would definitely stay here again. One thing to note: the beach access is only stairs, so if you bring a wagon full of beach toys, like we did, be prepared to have to carry your wagon up and down the stairs.

My husband and I loved our stay here. You cannot beat the location. It is not even a minute walk to the Beach Club. We were really able to make the most of our time being so close to everything. Check in and out were very easy. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach trip!

Great stay!

We had a great week at Beach Hat! The location could NOT have been better for our family. We walked to the Beach Club with no trouble, and the Candy Bar and other restaurants on 30A. It was also a short walk to Seaside, and we even rode bikes with the kids to Duckie's! The condo itself was beautiful! The kids loved the jetted bathtub downstairs, and we enjoyed getting sun on the porch upstairs. The only negative I would have would be the parking situation. The parking lot is not patrolled at all, so at certain times, there were no spots for us to park in. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot with no Watercolor parking pass, but it was often too much of a pain to call security/Sherriff's department, so we ended up parking on a curb. This shouldn't be a problem, though, if you don't plan on moving your car once you get there. Everything is in biking distance, but we had family staying in Destin, so we drove there most afternoons. Would definitely recommend for a fun, relaxing vacation!!

This was an excellent place for our stay. Extremely close to the beach. Next to shops and the beach club. Watercolor is a beautiful place with much natural beauty. We walked the trails everyday. Very accommodating We had everything we needed. Would certainly stay here again if available

We've been visiting the Watercolor/30a area for 5 years and this was hands down, our favorite spot yet! Plenty of space for myself, my husband and our 2 children. The proximity to the beach/pool was a huge plus. The 2 included bikes was a bonus also! Our favorite feature was the 2nd balcony off the master bedroom. There was no roof, so you could lay up there at night and watch the stars and listen to the ocean. We will definitely be booking the Beach Hat again!

Loved the location in Watercolor. Wonderful view of ocean in the distance from the top floor balcony. Great sunset watching. Nice to have another full bath downstairs. Master bathroom/bedroom all in same room-only a problem if you are a very light sleeper and the sound of the shower or sink wakes you (no problem for us). Good toiletries and linens. 30A Cottages & Concierges do a great job with their customer service.

This property was PERFECT in every way! Close proximity to everything - beach, shopping, dining and entertainment. Bikes were an added bonus and probably one of the things we enjoyed the most. The trails were straight across the street from the property which made it so quick and easy. The accommodations were very very nice and clean. I loved the shower in the master bathroom and my friend enjoyed the jet tub in the downstairs bath. It was truly a Perfect weekend!

Perfect for a couples getaway! Elevator to third floor unit. Easy parking; easy spot right outside building for Uber pickups. Unit itself is two floors: first floor kitchen/living/dining/deck/full bathroom (nice extra!), and second floor bedroom/bathroom plus another deck with views of the gorgeous gulf in the distance. Perfect for evening sunset watching. Would stay again!

Very nice condo with very easy access to Watercolor Beach Club. Located in the third building down from the beach club, this unit is in easy walking distance to Watercolor restaurants and shops. The unit is pleasantly furnished and the balcony areas are well designed for privacy with nice screening from neighbors.

We loved our stay here! The place was very clean and comfortable. It was so conveniently located, just a minute walk to the pool and beach. We loved walking around to the nearby shops and restaurants as well. Beautiful view, everything we needed for a nice stay. We stayed here with my husband and I and our three kids and we all fit perfectly. We had our two eight year olds downstairs on the pull out couch and they were very comfy sleeping there. Upstairs we had a pack and play set up in the master bedroom with us for our little guy and that worked very well. Plenty of room for all! Thank you so much for offering your place to us!

We loved Beach Hat and will absolutely book it again. It was very clean, well appointed and had a great location. The condo is one of the more spacious 1 bedrooms I found while looking in the Watercolor/Seaside area. 2 full baths, kind bed, 2 very nice decks. Easily would be enough room for a family of 4 or even 4 adults as long as 2 don’t mind a pull-out couch.

Unfortunately we had horrible weather during our stay at Beach Hat, but on the bright side what a wonderful place to be cooped up! The house is decorated beautifully, comfortable and plenty of space to spread out, excellent accommodations! Great location, short walk to restaurants and shops.....during the breaks in the rain! We had a late check in and 30A Cottages made everything so easy! Guest cards and parking passes were left inside the home and the entry code was text to me.....couldn't have been easier!
