Pitot Cottage is not only one of the few Gulf front options in Rosemary Beach, it’s one of the most beautiful historic homes on 30A. It was designed as a replica of the James Pitot house, an 18th century Creole plantation home in Louisiana. Architectural accents and salvaged materials were used throughout, such as the wide-plank deadhead cypress flooring, white wood coffered ceilings and cast iron door latches. Pitot’s three spacious bedrooms are all located on the first floor, offering two king masters with private bathrooms. The custom-built bunk beds accommodate four twins, and a bathroom across the hall features a generous soaking tub and shower – perfect for little ones after a long beach day. The home’s most charming features await upstairs, such as the transom French doors surrounding the wraparound porch, which offers a 180-degree view of emerald coastline. Three separate seating areas inside and chaise lounges outside offer plenty of places to enjoy a Gulf sunrise or sunset. When it’s time to eat, the professional chef’s kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful featuring a butler’s pantry, dual dishwashers and refrigerators, an ice maker, and four faucets. There is a carriage house above the two-car garage that is rented separately from the main home. A discounted rate is available if renting both homes.

When you are ready to explore more of 30A, you can hit the bike paths to visit neighboring communities such as Inlet Beach, Seacrest Beach and Alys Beach.

Pitot Cottage has designated garage parking for only one car. The garage is shared with carriage guests if both homes are rented.
Parking in the Rosemary Beach community may be challenging. Not all properties have designated parking. Please keep in mind, properties with designated garage access may not accommodate larger vehicles. Permitted on-street parking is available on a first come, first served basis. On-street parking is only permitted if your car is parked in a lined parking space with a valid parking permit/hang tag. Tags are limited to a certain number for each home. Proximity to your property is not guaranteed. Permits/hang tags are not required for vehicles parked in private garages or driveways. The Rosemary Beach Property Owners Association strictly enforces all parking regulations. 30A Cottages will not be liable for any fine or towing expense incurred by any guest staying in, or visiting, your home.
Due to the outstanding beaches, beautiful emerald water, and amazing communities along 30A, our area is getting more and more popular each year. Along with this comes a higher demand for housing, restaurants, etc. and projects in the communities to meet these demands. There is a high possibility of nearby construction, home remodels, community changes and county projects on the roads and bridges along 30A year-round and throughout every single community. Please be aware that refunds will not be issued due to noise disturbance or unsightly views due to nearby projects.
***The cancelation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such as VRBO.com, HomeAway.com, or VacationRentals.com. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.
***For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, smoking and pets are NOT allowed on property. Events and ceremonies, large parties exceeding the occupancy limit of the home, student groups under the age of 25, and disruptive behavior are not allowed. Violations of this policy or any terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement are subject to a fine or evacuation from the property.

~ Optional travel insurance plans are available to our guests; some restrictions and timelines apply. Ask for details when booking. If arriving within 30 days, the optional insurance must be added at the time of booking.
