Welcome to On The Hook! Located in the Crossing district of the WaterColor community, this well-appointed home features beach-inspired décor throughout, creating a calm and welcoming retreat. Double front porches greet you out front; the first floor being screened-in with a swinging twin-sized daybed, flat screen TV, Adirondack chairs and a ceiling fan. Inside, an open floor plan invites conversation whether you’re cozied up on the living room couch or perched at the kitchen’s breakfast bar. Just past the kitchen you’ll find the downstairs guest master with queen bed and private bath. The three additional bedrooms are upstairs, as well as a second living area with a queen-size sleeper sofa. The king master is in the front of the house, allowing private access to the second story, covered balcony as well as a private bathroom and ample closet space. The king guest room offers a Jack-n-Jill bathroom, which is shared by guests in the bunk room or on the pull-out couch. Everyone will appreciate flat screen TVs in each room, including the bunk room. When it’s time to explore the outdoors, the Crossing’s community pool is just around the corner, and the beach and newly renovated Camp Watercolor are a short bike or car ride away (approximately 1 mile). There are two designated parking spaces behind the home as well as a gas grill, bike rack and outdoor shower.

NOTE: Golf cart rentals in WaterColor must be made through The Electric Cart Company and will be limited to a certain number of vehicles (approximately 45 per week) throughout the community at any given time. Only one cart may be rented per home and rentals will be granted on a first-come, first served basis. Please contact Electric Cart Company directly for availability and pricing.
WaterColor Expansion Project

The Camp WaterColor expansion has been re-opened! There are now 3 pools, including a lazy river for the kiddos! Lifeguards have been employed for the water-slide that is now open to the masses. The basketball courts and tennis courts have also been re-opened. The restaurant and bar are now available to guests as well! There will eventually be a merchandise/sundry stand, which work will begin on shortly. And, plans are in place to install a new arcade in the future, but there is not an ETA on the arcade at this time. We do not have exact dates for the completion of all items but we will update our listings as we get more information from the HOA.
The Beach Club will be completely revamped to include three separate pools and many new upgrades! Upgrades include a new family pool with restrooms, a new resort pool, a new restaurant and bar, new dune level grill and a third level adult terrace. As of July 4th, 2019, the first phase has been opened so there is one pool currently available at the Beach Club! The complete expansion is projected to take between 12-24 months and will reopen in phases as certain areas are completed. The second phase will include the restaurant and two new lower deck pools. We do not have a current ETA on the completion of phase two. During the project, food and beverage service for the pool deck will still be available from Fish Out of Water. Access to the beach is still available using the boardwalk between the Beach Club and the WaterColor Inn. Rental chairs, towel service, and alternative restroom options are also available. Bike parking will still be available on the lawn in the Town Center. However, parking at the Beach Club and town square is extremely limited.
***Keep in mind, the project could be delayed and these dates are tentative. However, there are multiple pools and play areas throughout the WaterColor community so you will still have access to the open pools and parks.
On The Hook has designated parking for 2 vehicles behind the home.
WaterColor will only issue two parking passes per property. Any additional vehicles parked in the community without a parking pass displayed could be fined and or towed. WaterColor also has public on-street parking throughout the community for overflow vehicles; parking is on a first come, first served basis and passes must be displayed at all times.
Due to the outstanding beaches, beautiful emerald water, and amazing communities along 30A, our area is getting more and more popular each year. Along with this comes a higher demand for housing, restaurants, etc. and projects in the communities to meet these demands. There is a high possibility of nearby construction, home remodels, community changes and county projects on the roads and bridges along 30A year-round and throughout every single community. Please be aware that refunds will not be issued due to noise disturbance or unsightly views due to nearby projects.
***The cancelation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such as VRBO.com, HomeAway.com, or VacationRentals.com. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.
***For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, smoking and pets are NOT allowed on property. Events and ceremonies, large parties exceeding the occupancy limit of the home, student groups under the age of 25, and disruptive behavior are not allowed. Violations of this policy or any terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement are subject to a fine or evacuation from the property.

~ Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date (Or in full at booking if arriving within 60 days)
~ Except for a 5% cancelation fee, the initial 50% payment is fully refundable if cancelations are given more than 60 days prior to the arrival date
~ Optional travel insurance plans are available to our guests; some restrictions and timelines apply. Ask for details when booking. If arriving within 30 days, the optional insurance must be added at the time of booking.
~ Concierge services are available. We recommend arranging rentals and services as far in advance as possible. Some services are limited and we cannot guarantee availability.
